It all started when...
One of my clients made me an offer I couldn't refuse! Rex Ruckert offered me the opportunity to become a partner in his herd of Simmental cattle. Since I wasn't raised in a cattle family I was starting from scratch on trying to build a herd. Rex's and my goals matched on the type of cattle we wanted to raise. Sound, efficient, functional cattle that "have a pretty face" too! We have focused on moderate sized, quiet tempered cattle that are good mothers.
In 2017 Maureen Mack gave me an opportunity to get some Tarentaise cows from her herd. I fell in love with these cattle after working with Maureens animals for several years.
